Spring Cleaning? Here's Your Room-by-Room Junk Removal Checklist

A practical checklist for every room in your home — what to clear, what's worth money, and how to get it done in one day.

Spring cleaning hits different when you know your junk has value. Instead of dreading the cleanout, think of it as a treasure hunt — every item with resale value is money back in your pocket.

Garage: workbenches, power tools, hand tools, lawn equipment, bikes, sports gear, old furniture. This is typically the highest-value room for resale credits. Group brand-name tools together.

Basement: old furniture, exercise equipment, electronics, holiday decorations, boxes from previous moves. Basements are treasure troves of forgotten items — especially vintage furniture and working electronics.

Kitchen: old appliances being replaced, duplicate small appliances, cookware you never use. Working stand mixers, food processors, and quality cookware sets have active resale markets.

Bedrooms: old mattresses and frames, dressers, nightstands, outdated electronics, clothing (not our department, but donate it). Bed frames in good condition earn credit; mattresses generally don't.

Living room: outdated furniture, old TVs, entertainment centers, bookshelves. Quality furniture from brand-name manufacturers can generate significant credits even if you consider it 'dated.'

Book your spring cleanout early — March through June is our busiest season. A 2-person crew for 2–3 hours handles most whole-home spring cleanouts. Starting at $100/hr, dump fees included (an industry first).
